What does it take to move a hydrogen project from a promising concept to a credible investment opportunity?

At Hydrogen Futures: Ukraine Symposium 2026 in Lviv, discussions focused on exactly that challenge: building hydrogen projects in Ukraine that can deliver lasting economic and climate value.

During the Ukrainian Hydrogen Project and Innovation Pitch Session, Petro Yaremenko, CTO of Hydrogen Ukraine, presented our H2U Platform. It is being developed to bring project information into one digital environment, automate data collection and make progress easier to track and present. The platform also explores a blockchain based registry to support transparent records for hydrogen projects.

For us, this work grows directly out of developing the Odesa and Zakarpattia Hydrogen Valleys. Alongside technical studies and infrastructure planning, projects need dependable information that partners can use to assess opportunities, coordinate decisions and move development forward.

We were glad to bring that perspective to a conversation spanning Ukraine’s hydrogen strategy, connections to the European network, bankable value chains and regional skills.
