Deutsche WindGuard Completes Wind Measurement Campaign for Hydrogen Ukraine. Advances to Next Stage of Project Development

Odesa Region, Ukraine – Deutsche WindGuard GmbH, a leading authority in wind energy, has successfully completed the wind measurement campaign for Hydrogen Ukraine. Launched in September 2022, the campaign is a pivotal component of Hydrogen Ukraine’s ambitious hydrogen project in the Odesa region.

The project now moves on to its next phase: Wind Resource and Energy Yield Assessment for the planned wind farm. In this stage, WindGuard will also finalize the wind farm layout design for 30 wind turbines and prepare a report in a bankable format, focusing on a site near Reni city in the Izmail District, Odesa Region, Ukraine.

Hydrogen Production Targets

The wind farm, with a configuration generating 160 MW of power, is designed to provide electricity to Hydrogen Ukraine’s electrolysis plant. The plant aims for an installed capacity of 100 MW in its first phase, scaling up to 200 MW in the second phase.

Solar Energy Development

In addition to wind energy, work on the solar energy front is also underway. As soon as specific milestones are reached in the solar energy project, updates will be provided.
