Development of professional skills in the field of gender equality and social inclusion
From September to December 2025, Hydrogen Ukraine, in partnership with the Ukrainian School of Governance, implemented a unique online program “Development of professional skills in the field of gender equality and social inclusion.”
This was a dedicated educational project aimed at developing practical competencies in gender equality and social inclusion. Its goal was to provide participants with tools to integrate the principles of equality and inclusion into professional activities, management processes, and public life.
The program consisted of 13 sessions covering key topics:
- Introduction to gender equality and social inclusion
- Legislative frameworks and policies
- Promoting gender equality in the workplace
- Tools for implementing a gender approach
- Measuring progress and accountability
- Gender gaps
- Gender-sensitive services
- Economic empowerment of women and men
- Ukraine’s achievements in gender equality on the path to European integration

The program was implemented as part of a renewable hydrogen production project in the Odesa region. The initiative was funded under the InnovateUkraine competition, supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by the British Embassy in Kyiv.
