Digital technologies for business development and green hydrogen certification

Hydrogen Ukraine has received support from the Virtual Center for Digital Innovation (NOSC-UA DIH) as part of the Digital Transformation of SMEs in Eastern Partnership Countries (DT4SME) project funded by the German government. Thanks to this support, we have developed a data space architecture for green hydrogen generation that allows the exchange of data on the origin and volume of hydrogen production with fixation via the blockchain.

‘Thanks to the services we have received, we have seen how digital technologies allow us to develop our business. For example, we are considering the possibility of certifying green hydrogen through the blockchain, which will make this process transparent and efficient,’ said Iaroslav Kryl, CEO of Hydrogen Ukraine.

This is an important step for the development of hydrogen technologies in Ukraine, as it ensures a high level of trust in hydrogen certification in the European and international markets. Transparency of data and the use of innovative technologies will attract investors, promote the development of the hydrogen economy and reduce barriers to Ukraine’s integration into global green hydrogen supply chains.

The DT4SME project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, promoting innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine.
