Hydrogen Ukraine at ReBuild Ukraine 2025: Strengthening Partnerships for a Clean Energy Future

Last week in Warsaw, Hydrogen Ukraine participated in ReBuild Ukraine 2025, joining international partners, energy developers, and financial institutions working to accelerate Ukraine’s sustainable energy recovery.

Our cooperation with the InnovateUkraine programme, funded by the UK Government, together with AB5 Consulting as administrative lead partner, has significantly advanced the development of our hydrogen project in the Odesa region. The conference provided an important moment to reconnect with programme partners, present our latest progress, and discuss how early-stage support is helping the sector move from feasibility to implementation.

Today, almost all technical studies for the project are complete, with around 95% of development work finalised. The remaining focus is the integration of the future hydrogen complex into Ukraine’s energy system – an essential step that will determine the project’s final configuration and readiness for execution. Backed by InnovateUkraine and partner financial institutions, we are now entering the stage of concrete preparation for implementation.

We are grateful for the continued support from the InnovateUkraine team and for the professionalism of AB5 Consulting, whose coordination ensures that a complex, multi-stakeholder project can progress efficiently.

Our CEO, Iaroslav Kryl, also contributed to the conference’s expert programme by joining the panel on renewable energy and hydrogen infrastructure. He highlighted lessons from our development journey and outlined the key priorities required to accelerate green-energy deployment in Ukraine. The discussion brought together leading initiatives supported by the UK Government and opened space for dialogue on new financing opportunities for private renewable-energy projects.

ReBuild Ukraine demonstrated once again the importance of strong partnerships and a shared commitment to rebuilding Ukraine’s energy system. Hydrogen Ukraine remains focused on advancing green-hydrogen production, fostering regional energy integration, and contributing to Ukraine’s long-term resilience.
