Hydrogen Ukraine Begins Site Preparation for Hydrogen Plant in Odesa Region

The Hydrogen Ukraine team has arrived on-site at the future hydrogen plant location in the Odesa region. The team is now commencing crucial survey works to prepare the land for construction.

The new plant is expected to play a key role in the country’s green energy strategy, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and the promotion of clean energy. The survey works will ensure the site’s suitability and help in the precise planning and construction of the hydrogen infrastructure.

“We’re thrilled to be on the ground in Odesa region, laying the groundwork for this innovative project,” said Iaroslav Kryl, CEO of Hydrogen Ukraine. “Hydrogen production offers tremendous potential for Ukraine, and this plant will play a key role in advancing our nation’s clean energy, security and independence goals.”

The Odesa region was chosen for its strategic location and potential to become a hub for green energy in Ukraine. The hydrogen plant is expected to create numerous job opportunities and stimulate economic growth in the area.

Project funding was awarded through the InnovateUkraine, funded by UK International Development and hosted by British Embassy Kyiv.
