Hydrogen Ukraine will take part in the International Economic and Tourism Forum of Zakarpattia: Energy, Logistics, Exports and Tourism, which will be held on October 3-4, 2024.
One of the key topics of the event will be the discussion of the prospects for the alternative energy sources development as an important factor in improving the energy security of the region and the country as a whole.
Iaroslav Kryl, CEO of Hydrogen Ukraine, will speak at a panel discussion on energy decentralization, where he will share his expert opinion on the use of hydrogen as an environmentally friendly and efficient energy source. Among the main advantages of hydrogen are reduced greenhouse gas emissions, energy independence from fossil resources, and the ability to store and transport energy on a large scale.
He will also present the company’s plans to build a hydrogen valley in Zakarpattia region, which will be a new stage in the development of Ukraine’s hydrogen infrastructure.
The event is organized by the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme as part of the Support to Inclusive Economic Development in Ukraine by Linking Export Strategy with Regional Development and SDGs Project with the support of the international cooperation project ReACT4UA («Application and Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the Field of Trade»), funded by the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
