Young talents in hydrogen energy: Kyrylo Marchenko and his research

In a world where the future of every idea matters, supporting young talents who can make a significant contribution to the development of hydrogen energy is essential. One such promising young researcher is Kyrylo Marchenko, a student of 10G grade at Lyceum No. 89 named after Grygorii Tsekhmistrenko in the Pechersk district of Kyiv.

His scientific work, “Hydrogen in Ukraine’s Energy System,” is not just a research project, but a real vision for Ukraine’s energy independence. Kyrylo is studying the efficiency of electrolysis as a method for hydrogen production, specifically looking at how surplus heat can improve efficiency by reducing electrolyte resistance, with a focus on practically implementing this technology into the energy system.

A month ago, Kyrylo passed the first stage of the competition for the protection of scientific research at the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and earned an honorable second place in the Ukrainian Ecology Olympiad. The CEO of “Hydrogen Ukraine” has already evaluated Kyrylo’s scientific work, providing feedback and recognizing its high potential for further research in the hydrogen energy sector.

Kyrylo continues his work at the second stage of the competition, aiming for new achievements that will help Ukraine advance its hydrogen energy sector to the next level.

Youth striving to change the world always deserves support. We wish Kyrylo continued success and are confident that his research will have a real impact on Ukraine’s energy future.
